Utah Child Support
Child Support is based off of the respective gross incomes of both parties. In Utah, child support is based off of statutory based child support guidelines. The parties may agree for a higher child support amount than required by the child support guidelines, but oftentimes a court will not grant child support that falls below the child support guidelines. Childcare and medical expenses including insurance premiums are typically shared equally.
